1 week before your microneedle treatment minimize sun exposure and DISCONTINUE:
- Use of all acids AHA BHA
- Retin A Tretinoin Retinols Vit A
- Benzoyl Peroxide Sulfur
- Other Topical Medications
- Aspirin Naproxen Aleve Naprosyn
- Ginseng Gingko Turmeric St. John's Wort
3 DAYS BEFORE YOUR MICRONEEDLE TREATMENT AVOID:
- Ibuprofen
- Motrin
- Advil- May resume after the procedure
- Acetaminophen/Tylenol is OKAY to take before or after treatment
• Note: if you need to take medications for medical reasons, do not discontinue without discussing with your prescribing healthcare provider.
Day of treatment:
• If you are prone to cold sores, take your medication such as cyclovir or valacyclovir/Valtrex
MICRONEEDLE Post CARE INSTRUCTIONS
24 hours following treatment:
- No make-up
- No sweating, sauna, swimming or sun exposure-Sweating and gym environments contain bacteria, and may cause adverse reactions
Day of treatment:
• If you are prone to cold sores, take your medication such as cyclovir or valacyclovir/Valtrex
